Candidates confirmed for General Election



The final lineup of candidates running in the Sligo-Leitrim and Donegal constituencies has been declared, following the closing of the nomination deadline for General Election 2024.

 

Both constituencies remain the same as 2020 in terms of seats available.

 

While the Donegal constituency remains intact, following The Electoral Commission’s review published in 2023, north Roscommon, which includes areas such as Boyle has been removed from the Sligo-Leitrim constituency.

 

A total of 18 candidates will battle it out in the 4-seater Sligo-Leitrim constituency.
