Two men have been arrested following a serious incident in Belcoo on Saturday afternoon.
It happened in a premises in the Main Street area shortly after 12.10pm.
The victim sustained serious facial injuries including a cut above his eye, and part of his ear missing.
Police have confirmed that one man in his 20s and another in his 30s were arrested yesterday in connection with the incident.
The man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, common assault, criminal damage, assault on police and disorderly behaviour.
While the man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a Class B controlled drug, and possession of a Class C controlled drug.
Both remain in custody and are assisting with police enquiries.
