A woman in her 70s has been hospitalised after being struck by a car in south Donegal.
The incident happened on the N56 in Bruckless on Saturday shortly after 6pm.
The woman was transferred to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Investigations into the collision are ongoing and the road through Bruckless remains closed today.
Diversions and a stop-go system are currently in place.
