Tenders go out for redevelopment of Ursuline College

Tenders have gone out today for the redevelopment of the Ursuline College in Sligo town.

Plans are afoot to transform the school into a state of the art, three storey building, as well as adding a number of additional educational and sporting facilities.

The closing date is in early January, with hopes construction can begin early next year, to the tune of around 28m euro.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, local Councillor and Fianna Fail General Election candidate, Edel McSharry, says that the school is in need of an upgrade.
