A Government Minister has commented on the need for bus services in Caltragh.
Enhanced bus services has recently been launched in Sligo, with the new S3 bus route running hourly between Markievicz Road and Finisklin, seven days a week.

However it had been argued by some that residents from the Caltragh, Crozon and Carraroe areas were being ignored.
