Ocean FM has signed its new 10-year contract for a continuation of its local radio service in the Sligo-North Leitrim-South Donegal franchise area.
Earlier this week members of the board of directors of Ocean FM, along with staff members, attended the contract signing at the offices of the broadcasting authority, Comisiun na Mean, in Dublin.
It means an extension of Ocean FM's radio licence until March, 2035.
Ocean first took over the licence for the franchise area in 2004.
