Anyone affected by flooding is invited to attend an event hosted by the Office of Public Works in Leitrim later this morning.
The Shannon Flood Risk State Agency Co-ordination Working Group is holding its second open day on its 2016 work programme.
It’s taking place at the Council Offices in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The OPW says anyone in the greater Shannon area who have been affected by flooding should come along and they will have the opportunity to ask questions to Commissioner Clare McGrath, Chair of the OPW.
