A tree fell overnight in Collooney blocking both lanes between the roundabouts on the way into the town.
Fire services are attending the scene and currently only one lane is passable so caution is advised.
Local Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy was at the scene and told Ocean FM that he was ‘happy no one was injured’ and praised the quick response of Sligo Fire Service.
Both lanes are expected to be open within the hour
