HSE health forum committee will be led by two local councillors



The HSE West Health Forum Committee will be headed by a Donegal and a Sligo Councillor in the coming year.

Donegal Sinn Fein Councillor Gerry McMonagle is the new Chairperson while south Sligo Councillor Keith Henry has been elected the new vice-Chair.

Councillor Henry says the forum is an opportunity to ask the HSE about issues of concern to people.

He says following the revelations on poor ambulance cover this week, it’s something he intends to get further answers on.

He says staffing levels are key to resolving issues within the ambulance service and he intends to keep these issues on the agenda:
