Gardaí in Leitrim will today launch a fresh appeal for information in connection with the murder of a man six years ago.
48 year old Patrick Heeran was last seen in Mohill on the 3rd of October 2011.
Mr Heeran who was 5 foot nine, of stocky build, with fair hair, was last seen wearing brown shoes, blue jeans and a brown jacket.
Gardai will launch a public appeal in relation to the case this morning at 11am in The Bush Hotel in Carrick on Shannon while it’s understood a search is being carried out in the surrounding areas.
