A Sligo/Leitrim TD has told the Dail that a disabled woman from Sligo has been abandoned by the Government.
Louise Haugney, who lives in Sligo Town, has cerebral palsy, asthma, arthritis and is wheelchair bound.
In 2011 she moved from residential care to indepedent living with a range of supports including physiotherapy, a home care worker, a social worker and access to a GP.
But speaking in the Dail yesterday, Deputy Marc McSharry says these supports are now gone and Louise has since been abandoned by the system…..
