Finn Harps lose 3-2 to Derry City

Finn Harps remain bottom of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division following Friday night’s 3-1 defeat at home to Derry City.

David Parkhouse scored twice for the Candystripes in the final 10 minutes to seal the win for the visitors.

Harps defender Colm Deasy saw red for a bad challenge of Derry’s ex-Harps player Ciaran Coll.

After a scoreless first-half, Donegal native Aidy Delap gave Derry the lead – only for former Derry player Nathan Boyle to bring Harps level fifteen minutes from the end. Then came Parkhouse’s late double. Mikey Plaice scored a late penalty for the home side but Derry held on to win.
