Sligo Rovers and Shamrock Rovers drew 0-0 in Saturday night’s Airtricity League Premier Division game at the Showgrounds.
Despite being without their three recognised strikers Ronan Coughlan, Romeo Parkes and the suspended Ronan Murray, Rovers produced a solid tactical performance to earn a share of the spoils.

Republic of Ireland international manager Mick McCarthy (pictured) was among the spectators at the Showgrounds and posed for several photos and selfies with fans throughout the evening.
Rovers remain sixth in the table on 42 points, with three league games remaining.
Rovers travel to the RSC next Tuesday to play Waterford at 7:45pm.
