Status Yellow rainfall and wind warnings are in force for the north west.
The wind warning, for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Kerry, will be in force until about 11am tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
South to southwest will reach 50 to 65km per hour, with gusts of 90 to 110km/hr.
The rainfall warning for Connacht and Donegal will be in force until about 3pm tomorrow morning.
High seas and gales will combine to give a risk of coastal flooding in places, particularly along coasts.
