New Coolaney to Sligo bus route proposed

A new bus route is being proposed in Co. Sligo following the National Transport Authority suggesting an increase of 25% in rural bus services.

Fine Gael Councillor, Dara Mulvey, says It's being proposed is to amalgamate NTA routes 474 and 475 to create a new bus run that will travel from Coolaney via Collooney to Sligo and Maugherow.

He says it would have a minimum of four return trips Monday to Friday and three return trips on Saturday and Sunday.

Councillor Mulvey is urging members of the public to submit their views during the public consultation process.
