Motorists urged to be on alert for flooded roads in North West



Motorists are being urged to take care this morning as some roads may be flooded again this morning.

 

It’s after a status yellow thunderstorm warning for seven counties came to an end last night.

 

Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Meath were affected by heavy rainfall.

 

It comes after the northwest of the country was hit by flooding in Donegal, Derry and Strabane on Saturday night.
