EJ Sligo All-Stars consigned Neptune to a fourth defeat in five games on Saturday evening with an impressive 87-82 victory in Cork in the men’s Superleague.
Shane O’Meara’s led from start to finish, establishing a 47-36 half-time.
The home side closed to within four points at the end of Q3 – and actually took the lead briefly in the final quarter – but the All-Stars responded well with Tom Child netting six points in the closing stages to help ensure Sligo edged to a deserved victory.
