49 patients waiting for a bed at North West hospitals



There were 49 patients on trollies in the North West’s two main hospitals this morning.

There were 32 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital this morning, with a further 17 waiting in Letterkenny.

University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded hospital in the country today, with 97 people waiting there.

Nationwide, the figures stand at 627, according to the latest statistics from the INMO.
