A man – arrested in relation to an investigation into investment fraud in Mayo – has been released without charge.
The man in his 60s was taken into custody yesterday morning in Charlestown following more than 65 complaints from people who’ve been deceived out of a total of 1 point 2 million euro since 2016.
He was questioned at a garda station in Mayo, and a file is now being prepared for the DPP.
