There were 61 people waiting on hospital beds at the North West’s two main Hospitals today.
48 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital with 30 in the emergency department alone.
There were 15 in Letterkenny University Hospital with one patient reported to be in the emergency Department.
The figures have reduced in Letterkenny where there were 31 people waiting on beds yesterday.
Nationally, today there were 438 people waiting on hospital beds.
