Government failing to provide ‘basic transport links’ in Sligo



The Government has been accused of failing to provide basic transport links in areas of Sligo.

 

Speaking in the Dáil, Sinn Feins Transport Spokesperson Deputy Martin Kenny said that 6 passengers in Boyle on Monday night were left waiting Expressway’s 23 bus from Sligo to Dublin Airport.

 

Deputy Kenny also called for the provision of the S3 bus service through Maugheraboy in Sligo town.

 

He asked the Taoiseach to ensure that the government fulfils promises made.
