“Sligo’s crying out for this” – Dizzy Hyndman on creation of new women’s soccer league



The new Sligo-Leitrim adult women’s junior soccer league will have 12 clubs participating when it begins on September 30th.

Confirmation of the new league came from Sligo Leitrim and District Soccer League officials in recent weeks.

The 12 clubs are:

Arrow Harps
Ballisodare Utd
Ballymote Celtic
Calry Bohs
Carrick Town
Glenview Stars
Gurteen Celtic
Kilglass/Enniscrone Utd
Manor Rangers
Real Tubber
Valley Rovers
Yeats Utd.

Catherine ‘Dizzy’ Hyndman, who’ll be the new Player-Coach of Yeats Utd FC when the league begins, was one of the original facilitators when it came to getting the league started.
