A hiker has been rescued following a multi-agency operation in the region yesterday.
Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue were tasked by Gardai to assist the casualty who had gotten into difficulty.
Upon arrival to the scene, the casualty was assessed and transported off the hill by stretcher and taken by ambulance to Sligo University Hospital for further treatment to a lower leg injury.
