Finn Harps have announced this afternoon that defender Keith Cowan has left the club.
The decision comes following the recent birth of his baby daughter, with his family and full-time work commitments taking precedent over football.
Cowan leaves the club having made over 250 appearances for the club over two spells. He was also part of the Harps squad that reached the semi-finals of the FAI Cup under Ollie Horgan in 2014, and was a key player in multiple promotion campaigns for the Ballybofey club.
In a statement, Finn Harps thanked Cowan for his dedication to the club, and wished him all the best in the future.
