Support for Sinn Féin increases according to latest poll



Support for Sinn Féin has risen to 34 per cent according to the latest Ireland Thinks opinion poll for the Sunday Independent.

The figure marks an increase of three per cent for the main opposition Party on a comparitive poll in early July.

Sinn Féin is almost twice as popular as Fine Gael and Fianna Fail combined.

Fine Gael is unchanged at 19 per cent while Fianna Fáil is down one to 18 per cent.

The Social Democrats are down one to five per cent while the Greens are up two to five per cent.

Labour is up two to four per cent with people before profit on 3 per cent and Aontú on two per cent .

Support for Independents is down three to ten per cent.
