Killybegs to face Aodh Ruadh in Donegal SFC round 3

The draw for next weekend’s round three of the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure senior football championship was made on Sunday evening.

Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon, buoyed by making it two wins from two following Saturday evening’s 2-8 to 0-9 win over Gweedore, will take on Killybegs in Fintra next weekend.

The Fisherman remain pointless after two matches following their narrow loss to MacCumhaills in Ballybofey.

The full round 3 draw is as follows:

Donegal SFC Round 3 draw
Four Masters v St Michael’s
Kilcar v St Naul’s
St Eunan’s v Ardara
Glenswilly v Dungloe
Glenfin v MacCumhaill’s
Gweedore v Cloughaneely
Killybegs v Aodh Ruadh
Milford v Naomh Conaill.

Sunday’s draw followed champions Naomh Conaill come from 0-8 to 0-2 down against last year’s beaten finalists St Eunan’s to earn a 0-9 to 0-9 in the televised round two game at Davy Brennan Memorial Park.

Four Masters scored a 2-9 to 2-6 win in Dungloe – while Ardara survived the wind and a second-half Glenfin revival to edge to a 2-12 to 2-11 victory.
