Overcrowding problems persist at Sligo University Hospital



Sligo University Hospital was the third most overcrowded facility in Ireland today with 40 people awaiting admission there this morning.

According to figures published by the INMO, 65 people in total were waiting for beds in the North West this morning, with a further 25 people waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital.

University Hospital Limerick continues to be the country’s most overcrowded hospital with 112 waiting admission.

Nationally, there were 526 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
