Over 1,270 new full-time first year students have begun their studies at ATU Sligo.
While 283 began their courses at St. Angela’s Campus.
In total, over 4,630 first year students have been enrolled across the eight ATU campuses in Sligo, Donegal, Galway and Mayo for this current academic year.
CAO applications to ATU increased by 5% this year, bringing the total number of students at ATU to around 24,000.
Among them are students from across the world including Canada, South Africa, India, France, Spain and Ukraine.
The induction programme, designed to ensure a successful transition into university life, has been planned to provide students with the essential tools, resources, and support needed to excel academically and thrive personally during their time at ATU.
