Budget fails to support to north west schools



The budget has failed to address the big issues facing education in the north west.

That’s according to ASTI General Secretary, and former Sligo secondary school teacher, Kieran Christie.

The association has previously called on the department of education to make urgent investment.

These include in class size, teacher shortages and school guidance and counselling services.
