St Nathy’s complete six-in-a-row in Sligo

St Nathy’s women’s gaelic footballers continue to break new ground in Sligo club football – after Saturday’s Connacht Gold senior football final success over Drumcliffe/Rosses Point at Markievicz Park.

Their 1-12 to 0-7 victory secured a sixth consecutive senior title.

Team captain and goalkeeper Noelle Gormley received two trophies on Saturday – the ‘Gift of Life Gillespie Cup’ and the Player of the Match award.

The win underlined Nathy’s prominence in Sligo LGFA as the Ballinalack club continue to break new ground on this 30th anniversary of women’s gaelic football in the Yeats County.
