Sligo Credit Union have named Olympic Games-bound boxer Dean Clancy as their first ever brand ambassador.
The announcement was made this morning in line with the Credit Union’s new Sports Bursary programme.
The aim of the new programme is to provide assistance to elite athletes who are excelling at the highest national and international levels of sports.
Clancy, who qualified for next summer’s Olympics in Paris last June, will be Sligo’s first ever Olympic boxer.
