Breast cancer patient criticises appointment transfers to Castlebar for follow-up treatment



Marion Gibbons was diagnosed with breast cancer nine years ago. She was told her follow-up mammograms would take place at the Centre of Excellence in Galway Hospital, but her appointments have now been transferred to Castlebar. She says this is totally unacceptable for someone relying on public transport – it would take he almost six hours to travel by bus from Sligo to Castlebar
