Number waiting at Sligo University Hospital remains high



Sligo University Hospital was the third most overcrowded hospital in the country today according to figures published by the INMO.

The latest trolley watch figures are reporting that there were 40 people waiting on a bed at the facility this morning, 25 of whom were in the emergency department.

Elsewhere in the north west, 12 patients were reported at Letterkenny University Hospital, with 2 in the emergency department.

University Hospital Limerick continues to be the most overcrowded hospital nationally with 130.

Nationally, there were 563 people waiting on hospital beds.
