A number of north Leitrim residents will be honoured at the launch of the 2024 Leitrim Guardian on Sunday afternoon.
This year’s event will once again take place in the Rainbow Ballroom of Romance in Glenfarne.
Michael and Breege Mulvihill. Leitrim Guardian Person of the Year 2024 recipients will receive their award.
Breege and Michael, from Glenfarne, were nominated in recognition of their lifetime of service to their community.
The primary school award has been awarded to 10-year-old Sadie Lancashire from Killargue.
While Dominic Rooney’s extensive piece of research on the Historic Bridges of Manorhamilton and its environs has been recognised and he will receive The Leonard Perpetual Award.
