Finn Harps came from 2-0 down after 13 minutes to beat Longford Town 3-2 in their season-opening game at Bishopsgate in SSE Airtricity First Division on Saturday night.
After a dreadful start to the game, Harps pulled a goal back through Success Edogun before half-time.
Then, second-half strikes from Jamie Watson and Mark Mbuli saw Darren Murphy’s side claim all three points.
