Three Donegal women in Ireland squad for Sweden qualifiers



There are three Donegal women in the Ireland international squad named on Wednesday for upcoming home and away Euro 2025 qualifiers against Sweden.

Midfielders Tyler Toland and Erin McLaughlin – and striker Amber Barrett have all been included in Eileen Gleeson’s 26-strong squad for the home qualifier against the Swede on Friday, May 31st at the Aviva Stadium –  and the away fixture four days later (June 4th) in Stockholm.

There is a first call-up for former Ireland U19 midfielder Eva Mangan due to the 19-year-old impressing for Cork City this season in the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division.

The Ireland squad will begin preparations for the qualifiers at the FAI National Training Centre from May 27th.
