Organisers of the Wild Roots festival have confirmed that they have cancelled this year’s event.
In a statement issued inside the last few minutes, they’ve said that the 2024 festival will not be going ahead as planned.
Despite their best efforts to overcome various challenges, organisers say the odds were ultimately against them this year.
The event was due to take place over the June Bank Holiday weekend.
The Academic, Damien Dempsey and Hermitage Green were due to perform over the course of the weekend.
The ticket refund process will start on the 22nd of June.
