An extension to Finn Valley College in Stranorlar has been given approval to proceed to construction under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.
The extension will consist of three new classrooms to provide a special class for children with special needs, two special education rooms for one-to-one teaching or group working and three general classrooms.
In a statement, Minister Charlie Mc Conalogue said: “This is great news for the Twin Towns, and for the staff, students and parents of Finn Valley College. I’d like to acknowledge the efforts of Minister Norma Foley in relation to getting the extension to construction stage and thank Cllr Patrick McGowan for his ongoing work with this project.”
