Large quantity of sewage enters north Leitrim river



It’s emerged that a large quantity of sewerage has flown directly into a north Leitrim river.

 

Just last week, flash flooding led to excess water and raw sewage running through the streets of Manorhamilton.

 

While in recent days, it was found to be flowing into the River Bonet (Pron: Bone-net) in Dromahair.

 

Local Fine Gael election candidate Kevin Comiskey says the matter is of grave concern to the local area:
