New biomethane strategy to assist north west farmers



The Minister for Agriculture, Donegal TD Charlie McConalogue says farmers could gain a potentially lucrative income if they sign up to the new National Biomethane Strategy.

 

It is hoped that the long-awaited plan will produce zero-carbon homegrown gas from grass and organic waste.

 

Full details of the 40-million-euro project will be revealed this afternoon.
