Donegal beaten by Cork

Donegal’s unbeaten championship run in 2024 under Jim McGuinness came to a halt on Saturday in Group 3 of the All-Ireland senior football championship as Cork edged to victory on a final scoreline of 3-9 to 0-16.

The Ulster champions had gone 12 matches unbeaten this year across league and championship football up to this game.

Donegal now need a positive result in their final group game against Clare to be sure of progressing to the knockout stages.
