A man has died following a crash in north Sligo.
Gardai remain at the scene of the collision this morning, involving a van and a lorry that occurred on the N15 at Urlar, this morning at around 6am.
The driver of the van, a man in his late 20s and believed to be a from a neighboring county was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.
The lorry driver was removed to Sligo University Hospital for assessment to non-life-threatening injuries.
The section of the N15 is currently closed to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and traffic diversions are in place.
Local diversion are currently in place at Bens Top line Hardware via Carney for northbound traffic heading towards Donegal and for traffic heading towards Sligo via the Benbulben forest walk turn off road.
