The Taoiseach Simon Harris has reaffirmed his support towards Sligo Rovers ‘Master Plan’.
The project involves a major re-development of the Showgrounds, including a new 6,000 all seater stadium.
It’s expected that there will be an announcement from government in relation to allocations from the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund in the coming weeks.
