The Friday edition of North West Today was broadcast from the new headquarters Social Ground Force, situated on the Mall in Sligo.
Social Ground Force is a charity that deals with Suicide Prevention and provides assistance to those who wish to recover from addiction such as alcohol, drugs, gambling, & depression.
For this week the Friday Panel consisted of people that have a very special connection with social ground force as volunteers, and that have availed of the services of social ground force in the past – an intervention that they will tell you has helped transform their lives.
Our panel of Rory, Aubrey and Wendy joined John Lynch to discuss addiction and treatment options as well as well as telling their own inspirational stories.
