146 people homeless across North West in July this year



146 people were homeless across the North West throughout the month of July.

The latest figures have been published by the Department of Housing this afternoon.

117 of those were single adults, while 92 were male and 54 female.

25-44 was the age bracket with the highest amount of homeless people across the region, with 77.

The report also shows that 24 families were registered homeless, with 48 child dependents among them. 21 of those were single parent families.

The North West’s total accounted for 1% of the national figure, which stands at just over 10,000 for July 2024.
