ATU Sligo student Shauna Bocquet finished eighth for Ireland in Saturday morning’s final of the women’s T54 5000 metres at the Paris Paralympics.
Bocquet, who’s a native of Craughwell in Galway, is a second-year Sport & Exercise Science student at ATU Sligo.
In Saturday’s final, she clocked a time of 11:50.85.
This is the first of three paralympic events for the 20-year-old.
