Frustration building in south Sligo over broadband rollout



Frustration is said to be building over the rollout of high speed broadband in south and west Sligo.

 

It’s claimed that several people who would like to live and work in the area have had to move elsewhere due to poor connectivity.

 

It was previously announced under the National Broadband Plan that Sligo would see an investment of €59M in the new high speed fibre network.

 

But local Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey believes that it’s not being done fairly and is calling for the matter to be investigated:
