Sligo Rovers friendly game against Celtic next month sold out within hours of tickets going on general sale on Wednesday.
Brendan Rodgers team will come to the Showgrounds on Wednesday, October 9th, for a 7.30pm kick-off.
The fixture will be played in memory of the late Tommie Gorman, who helped broker the agreement for the friendly, prior to his death back in June.
Season ticket holders and 500 club members were given priority purchasing of tickets on Tuesday of this week – with the bulk of the match tickets (priced at €25 for adults) going on general sale online on Wednesday.
These tickets were snapped up within hours meaning the Showgrounds can look forward to a full house on October 9th.
Rovers home ground has an official capacity of 3,873.
