An appeal has been launched to find out who vandalised a sculpture in Collooney.
The wooden figure, locally known as ‘Frankie the fish’, is located along the walkway under the bridge and was discovered knocked over yesterday evening.
It’s believed that the vandalism happened at some stage on Wednesday evening last.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact Sligo Garda Station.
In a statement, Collooney Tidy Towns has hit out at those responsible and appealed to them to use their energy to give them a hand in cleaning up the area instead.
