A multiagency operation was launched yesterday evening over two children reported missing at Strandhill.
Sligo Bay Lifeboat was tasked to conduct the search off Strandhill beach.
However, shortly after arriving on scene, they were stood down by the Coast Guard, as thankfully both children were found safe and well.
